The TrustEngine App is a mobile application available to lenders licensed for the TrustEngine Platform. It is designed to prioritize and streamline Opportunity understanding and follow up for busy Loan Officers.
It is important that all email messages sent from your TrustEngine App are sent from your corporate email address.
There are two methods to ensure you are sending from your company’s email account.
- Recommended - Set up your device to always default to your corporate email account, as described below.
- Alternative - You may choose to verify/change the From address when composing each email by clicking directly on the From field. This will allow you to select from all email accounts installed on your device (true for all iPhone users and most Android users). However, this is not recommended, as you would need to remember to do it for every email you send to a borrower.
Note: It is assumed that you have properly installed your company's corporate email account on this device. (That process is not covered here, contact your corporate IT department for installation instructions.)
Apple iPhone Configuration
To set the default email account on your iPhone, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to the Settings application on your iPhone.
- Select Mail.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Default Account.
- Verify that your corporate email is selected as the Default Account, or click to select it.
Changing the Default Configuration on an Android Phone
Please contact your IT department for specific instructions for configuring your default email address on an Android phone, as the process varies depending on the operating system version running on your device, as well as your device OS version & corporate configurations.
