Enabling Notifications for the TrustEngine App

 TrustEngine Platform Opportunities can be time-sensitive. It is therefore highly recommended that you enable notifications for the platform’s TrustEngine App so you can act quickly on identified Opportunities and new borrower engagement.

You will also receive notifications at the date and time you've set any Opportunity reminders.

You can enable notifications from the TrustEngine App on first login, or later in your device settings.

Option 1 - Enable Notifications During Initial Login to the App

The first time you log in to the TrustEngine App, you will be prompted to accept push notifications. This means you will be notified if new Opportunities are available in the app, or existing Opportunities have new borrower engagement. 

NOTE: Notifications help ensure that you don't miss out on new Opportunities or engagement, promoting timely follow-up. Enabling notifications is highly recommended.

When prompted to do so:

1. Click Enable notifications on the Onboarding screen.
2. Click Agree in the popup window.

Notifications will appear on your lock screen once a day if you have new Opportunities or engagement. Click a notification to access the Opportunities Dashboard.

Option 2 - Enable Notifications in Device Settings After Initial Login 

If you did not enable notifications when you initially logged in to the TrustEngine App, you can do so through device settings.

Apple iPhone

To turn on app notifications for your Apple iPhone, complete the following: 

1. Navigate to the Settings application on your iPhone.
   
   
   
2. Select Notifications, then scroll down and select TrustEngine.

3. At the top, make sure that Allow Notifications is toggled on, and set your banner style, sounds, etc. for TrustEngine App notifications.

Android Phones

To enable app notifications for your Android phone:

1. Open the Settings app on your device.
2. Tap Notifications  

3. Tap App notifications.

4. Click All and select Most recent to find TrustEngine, or browse for TrustEngine under All Apps.
   
   
   
   
5. Tap TrustEngine.

6. Toggle Allow notifications to turn on notifications for the TrustEngine App and configure notification settings on the remainder of the App Notifications screen (e.g. elect Allow sound and vibration or Silent, Notification types, etc.).
